- You want to send a 50mb file via email, but the attachment limit is 10mb.
- You want to copy a file larger than 3GB to your thumbdrive / external harddisk but it is running on FAT32 file system. (FAT32 doesn't allow file >3GB, you'll get an error)
- You want to upload something to file sharing sites like Rapidshare, but they have their respective file size limit.

Don't worry, this tiny piece of software (200kb only!) is here to save the day.

1) Launch hjsplit.exe. No installation required.

     hjsplit

2) Click 'Split' or 'Join'..

3) Your file will be split into pieces with .001, .002, .003 extensions.. don't rename them because the convention is needed to join the files.

4) To join pieces of files that you split earlier, make sure all the pieces are in the same folder and select the first file (the one with .001 extension).

HJSplit is widely used in file sharing sites so you might need it sooner or later to join the pieces together :)

End Note:

HJSplit is a multi-platform tool. To get other platforms version other than Windows please visit the official website.
