For those who are studying Japanese, this pocket dictionary for Android is a very useful companion.

Don't be fooled by its ugly (somewhat) interface =(

Features:

  • Works offline (will download required data on first launch)
  • Key in the japanese reading or english meaning to search.
  • Search and view results as you type.
  • Shows all the different forms in one page, i.e. te form, nai form, root form, imperative form etc.

So far I haven't encounter a word that I couldn't find in this dictionary!
